A man came up to the desk to pay his fines.
Man: “I’d like to talk with a manager about my fines, please.”
Me: “Sure, I’m the manager. How can I help?”
Man: “I just wanted you to know: I never mind paying my overdue fines. The library is a wonderful place. Thank you for all that you do.”
