lmao i’m so happy and surprised to see how this thing blew up. this style of poetry is actually an entire genre in hindavi literature. it is a type of folk poetry called kahmukarni, and it involves two playful female speakers seemingly speaking about their lovers and ending in a wordplay. they’re very earthy-sounding in their folk performances, and they are traditionally sung by women. here’s another one by khusrow that i like:

I feel like fleur is underrated
She also mentioned that she “had enough good looks for the both of them” like yes Fleur you go, you’re beautiful and you know it
Fleur also said that “all ze scars show is zat my husband is brave!” and it never caused a rift in their relationship, Bill just liked his steak more rare than before, and she was cool with even that because “Englishmen cook their steaks too much anyway” like that woman was a bamf
